Anchor Chapter Donates to Festival 29

 chapter donation to festival
Friday 28th of November saw companions of Anchor Chapter gather in Northallerton for their Annual Installation Meeting when they were honoured by the presence of E.Companion Ian Moore on that occasion representing the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent.

All present enjoyed an excellent and interesting installation ceremony. Following which E.Comp Moore presented a Past Z Jewel to the retiring Z, ( although as was pointed out to him during a very special and personalised presentation, retirement from the chair does not mean sitting back and doing nothing.

On behalf of the Chapter the MEZ then presented E.Comp Ian with a donation of £1000 for Festival 29. A donation which was gratefully received, which as E.Comp Ian said was a substantial amount for a chapter to donate, and which showed the close links between Craft and Chapter Freemasonry within the Province but especially in Anchor Lodge and Chapter.

The Companions then retired from the Chapter to enjoy a most convivial festive board.

What is a Festival?

What is the target?

It is hoped that every member will give what they can toward this excellent cause.

As well as individuals Lodges and Chapters are encouraged to attain a level of achievement based on their membership.

It is hoped that most Lodges and Chapters will reach one of the achievements and that at the very least all will have given something.

How do I support The Festival?

Donations can be made in a number of ways, but it is hoped that most members will sign up for a regular promise by direct debit.

You can also donate online here.

Your Charity Steward will have the forms and details of the other methods. You can also visit the MCF Fundraising hub for more ideas and help.
