De Brus 4244 becomes Festival Patron

De Brus Lodge 4244 has been awarded Patron status for Festival 2029.

On Tuesday 28th July 2026 Assistant PGM W Bro Martin Eggermont had the pleasure of presenting the De Brus Worshipful Master with a Certificate of Achievement for raising over £13200 to Worshipful Master Ian Lince and Brother David Dunn who single handedly raised £2700 toward the achievement, which with his monthly contribution will take his personal total to £4200 – so far.

The cheque and certificate were exchanged at the De Brus summer event at Skelton Mill.

What is the target?

It is hoped that every member will give what they can toward this excellent cause.

As well as individuals Lodges and Chapters are encouraged to attain a level of achievement based on their membership.

It is hoped that most Lodges and Chapters will reach one of the achievements and that at the very least all will have given something.

How do I support The Festival?

Donations can be made in a number of ways, but it is hoped that most members will sign up for a regular promise by direct debit.
