Eboracum Lodge Celebrates 150 Years with Festival donation

 eboracum donation

On Monday 10 August, Eboracum Lodge No. 1611 marked a remarkable milestone as members and visitors gathered to celebrate the Lodge’s 150th anniversary.

The Lodge was filled to capacity, creating a wonderfully warm atmosphere as Brethren came together to share this very special occasion with Worshipful Master Jim Cooper and the members of Eboracum Lodge. It was a fitting celebration of 150 years of friendship, service and Masonic tradition.

Adding to the occasion, Jim presented the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Mark Iveson, with a cheque for a very generous £7,000 in support of Festival 2029. This magnificent donation reflects the generosity of the Lodge and its members, while providing a lasting contribution to the Festival and the important work it supports.

It was a memorable evening celebrating Eboracum Lodge’s proud history while looking forward with confidence to the years ahead.

What is a Festival?

What is the target?

It is hoped that every member will give what they can toward this excellent cause.

As well as individuals Lodges and Chapters are encouraged to attain a level of achievement based on their membership.

It is hoped that most Lodges and Chapters will reach one of the achievements and that at the very least all will have given something.

How do I support The Festival?

Donations can be made in a number of ways, but it is hoped that most members will sign up for a regular promise by direct debit.

You can also donate online here.

Your Charity Steward will have the forms and details of the other methods. You can also visit the MCF Fundraising hub for more ideas and help.
